1. Site owner identity

In compliance with the information duty of Article 10 of Spanish Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSI-CE), these are the details of this website's owner.

ronus.tech (the "Site") is owned by RUFUS TECH LLC, a limited liability company formed in the State of South Carolina, USA, trading under the RONUS brand. The team works from Spain and the service is provided to businesses in Spain and the United States.

2. What we do and what this Site is

RONUS builds and operates Oubi, an artificial intelligence assistant that answers the phone and WhatsApp of appointment-based businesses (salons, barbershops, studios, aesthetic clinics, veterinary practices), books into their calendar and, if the business enables it, collects a deposit. Alongside it we offer a free management app.

This Site presents the service, publishes the prices and conditions, and is where you request sign-up and pay the subscription.

3. Contracting through the Site

Since August 16, 2026 the Site allows you to request sign-up and pay the subscription, so the electronic contracting rules of Articles 23 et seq. LSSI-CE do apply. These are the points the law requires us to publish before contracting:

• Steps to contract: (1) you fill in the form at ronus.tech/start; (2) we talk for thirty minutes; (3) we build your assistant; (4) you test it; (5) if you say yes, we send your payment link and the first fee is charged. Steps 1 to 4 cost nothing and require no card.
• The contract is formed on payment of the first fee, not on submission of the form. Submitting the form binds neither party.
• Before paying you will see the total amount, the frequency and the fact that renewal is automatic. The payment button expressly states that it entails a payment obligation.
• Archived document: the contract is archived electronically in our systems and you may request a copy at legal@ronus.tech. The current conditions are always published at ronus.tech/terms-of-service.
• Language: the contract may be formed in Spanish or English. In case of discrepancy the English version prevails, without prejudice to any mandatory rules that protect you.
• Correcting errors: before confirming payment you can review and change your details, or write to billing@ronus.tech to correct anything.
• Payment methods: card, through Stripe. Prices are in US dollars and exclude taxes.
• The service is contracted within a business or professional activity, so the fourteen-day right of withdrawal for consumers does not apply. In exchange, there is no minimum term: you can cancel whenever you want at ronus.tech/cancel. Full conditions at ronus.tech/refunds.

4. Acceptable use of the Site

By accessing the Site you undertake to use it lawfully and in good faith. Specifically:

• Do not use it for unlawful purposes or in ways that harm third parties.
• Do not introduce or spread harmful content, malicious code or viruses.
• Do not attempt unauthorised access to areas, systems or data of the Site.
• Do not perform actions that overload, damage or prevent its normal operation, including mass automated crawling.
• Do not impersonate RONUS or third parties, or use our brand in ways that suggest a relationship that does not exist.

5. Intellectual property

The RONUS brand, the Oubi name, the mark (the disc with two apertures), the texts, images, designs, icons, proprietary typography and other Site content are owned by RONUS or its licensors and are protected by intellectual and industrial property law.

They may not be reproduced, distributed, modified or used without prior written authorisation, except for uses expressly permitted by law. Accessing the Site grants no rights over them.

If you believe Site content infringes a right of yours, write to legal@ronus.tech with the details and we will review it.

6. Third-party links

The Site links to third-party pages, mainly to cite other companies' public prices with the date they were checked. Those links are offered so you can verify the figure yourself.

We do not control or answer for the content, policies or practices of those sites. Accessing them is your responsibility and is governed by their terms, not ours.

7. Accuracy of information and limitation of liability

We work to keep everything published on the Site accurate and current. Third-party figures always carry a linked source and the date consulted, and we review them periodically; even so, someone else's price can change without us noticing the same day.

Site information is informational and may contain errors or omissions. To the extent permitted by applicable law, RONUS is not liable for damages arising from use of the Site, inability to access it, or reliance on its informational content.

This limitation concerns the Site. Liability relating to the contracted service is governed by the Terms of Service, which have their own clause and their own cap.

8. Site availability

We work to keep the Site always accessible but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may suspend it temporarily for maintenance or for reasons beyond our control.

9. Data protection and cookies

How we handle personal data is in the Privacy Policy: ronus.tech/privacy. What is stored in your browser, which today is only the chat's technical cookie, is in the Cookie Policy: ronus.tech/cookies.

10. Changes

We may update this Legal Notice when the Site or applicable law changes. The current version is always the one published on this page, with its date.

11. Severability

If an authority or court declares any clause void, the rest remains fully in force and the void clause shall be deemed replaced by the valid one closest to its purpose.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

Use of this Site is governed by the law of the State of South Carolina (USA), and the parties submit to the courts of Greenville County.

This choice does not deprive any user of the protection afforded by the mandatory rules of the country of their habitual residence. Users resident in the European Union retain the rights granted by the mandatory rules of their State.

13. Language

This Legal Notice is published in Spanish and English. In case of discrepancy the English version prevails, unless applicable mandatory rules provide otherwise.
